TIL this exists, looks to be based on a f-150. Additionally they’re going to make an affordable drone like helicopter for commuting in the reasonably near future

Kinja'd!!!

Dreadful to look at, but interesting no matter.

link got kinja’d see the comments and here is where I’m seeing f150/ford based, but group seems to say Silverado

HQ is in SW Ohio. They also have a large order for an electric delivery van for one of the currier companies.

Definitely based on a Silverado. Why they feel the need to make electric vehicles look different than standard vehicles though is beyond me, just make it look like a Silverado (or just enough difference to avoid potential lawsuits), instead they make it super polarizing, and add tons of unnecessary cost.

I think these are Silverado based, Workhorse also does electric conversions of Chevy Express vans.

Agree though, no idea why they have to do that

the kink in the window line had me confused but i think they modified it.

Kinja'd!!!

its missing the Ford’s rectangle door handles, and the mirror is defiantly Chevy

there is a small chance that front end is more aerodynamic

It’s a double cab, the kink on the back window is much more pronounced on the shorter cabs.

Yeah, that taillight is very F-150esque, the cab is most definitely GM  though.

I think the reasoning is that p eople who buy electrics and hybrids want everyone else to know they’re driving something different.
